how to figure which size to order?

The PLATEminus carriers ESAPI or SPEAR armor plates with or without soft armor backers in an enclosed tweave plate pocket. Other nonstandard sized steel or composite armor may fit depending on the size. Remember to size the carrier in the options to the plate size, NOT the user physical size.
Medium: 241 x 318 mm (9½ x 12½ in)
Large: 260 x 337 mm (10⅛ x 13¼ in)
