My savage 110 .308 is pre-accutrigger so first gen but not sure if there is anything else I need to check on it first?

This Boyds Hardwood Gunstock will fit short action (like .308) caliber Savage 110 1st Gen rifles that use a blind magazine. It will be compatible with your rifle.

This Boyds Hardwood Gunstocks Rifle Stock At One Savage 110 Stock incudes the Boyds 1/2" rubber recoil pas but you will need the take down screws, trigger guard and mag box & spring from your factory stock.

It will not you would have to order a Savage model 10 short action bottom bolt release detachable magazine stock.
