I just shot some of these today. They are not anything like Winchester slugs, or any other type of slug I have used before. They are not cylindrical. Instead it is just one round ball. We shot quite a few of them from a lead sled to test accuracy today. Inside of 50 yards they are okay. At 100 yards forget it! They are a joke at longer distances. We had one guy shooting from the bench rest and one guy watching through binoculars and through binoculars you could see the slug knuckle balling through the air to the target. No consistency at all past 50 yards. Inside of 50 yards I wouldn't hesitate to hunt deer with them and I think they would be great for home defense too. I was using a modified choke in my bullpup 12 gauge. I am going to experiment with different choke tubes to see if that will alter results with these big round ball "slugs".
