How does the FDE compare to Magpul or Maxim Defense?

BCM FDE is a shade lighter than Magpul FDE, the difference is not noticeable unless the furniture is touching or right next to each other

No, this is meant specifically for M-lok rails. This fits the slots on an M-lok rail.
