The Bushnell Engage DX Spotting Scope has a magnification range of 20-60X. So it your target at a given distance will appear 20-60X bigger than viewing that target with the naked eye depending on the magnification you have it set on. There is not a clear distance I could say you would be able to see clearly since it would depend on the conditions you are shooting in as well, but in great conditions you could view a target at that distance.
