Bushnell does not provide the outside diameters of the eyepiece and objective lens for the Bushnell Prime 4-12x40 Rifle Scope. I recommend contacting Bushnell for this information in order to use the Butler Creek Flip Up Cover sizing guide on the left side of the product page below.

will this scope work on 270 cal. or 30-06 cal

Yes. The Bushnell Prime 4-12x40 Rifle Scope features a Multi-X reticle, which will work for 30-06 and 270, and is shockproof.
