We do not have any on the threading of the mag cap on this model of gun, therefore cannot confirm if this will fit.

What is the difference between the 04501 and the 04505 extension tube.

The 04501 Magazine extension kit is made for the Benelli M1, M2, Super Black Eagle (SBE) SBE 11 &111 8-Shot Whereas the 04505 Magazine Kit is made for the Winchester SX models in 8-Shot

I assume that this gives a total capacity of 8 rounds. But wish to make sure that this does not add 8 rounds to the M2's normal load.

The Extension makes the gun capable of handling eight 2 3/4", seven 3", or six 3.5" shells. You are correct it does NOT add 8 rounds to the existing capacity.
