Will this stock fit universal M-1 rifle?

I don't think it will. It fits only military M1 carbines, and models made by Plainfield which are the same.

Yes, it does. Just remember that you may have to sand it little. It was a little tight on my m1 carbine in the area near the trigger. Also I had to remove most of the cross brace. It's not needed and too close during recoil.
