I want to put this on my 590 tactical 18.5 inch 6+1. Will this be flush or will this go past the end of the barrel and if so, by how much. — 2 Answers

They have a 3 1\8 model called the cruiser that fits 590 , 590a1 and cruiser models. They also have a 4 1\4 model called plus 1 that will increase capacity by 2 if you use factory follower & both will extend past the barrel ! S & J hardware out of USA makes a plus 1 that is 2 1\4" and is made for your gun , fits perfectly flush with barrel!

The length includes the threaded portion. Drop about an inch and that's the amount the extension will add. Other brands provide the length without the threaded part. Choate is the brand everyone copied.
