The Choate Tool Mossberg Cruiser 1 Shot Magazine Extension might work with the Mossberg Maverick 88 however, since that model is not listed as being compatible I recommend contacting the manufacturer to confirm.

Unfortunately no, this will not work with the Maverick 88, that is a closed-end magazine tube. This extension is for the open-end magazine tube of the 590
