will it fit a heavy/bull barrel

Yes it does fits bull/heavy profile barrels perfectly. I have a Remington 700 SPS tactical 308 with a full length bull barrel that may as well be a 20" crowned and chambered barrel blank from back before they threaded the barrel from the factory (maybe got the rifle in 2004). The hogue overmold that came on it would flex enough to touch the barrel just sitting the rifle down on the bipod. I can load up heavy on the bipod with this stock and it wont get any closer to the barrel. It is very solid which does add some weight but anything this solid is going to have some heft to it. The grip angle is also a big plus for me after a severe hand/wrist injury. I cant use tradition rifle grips. So I looked for a pistol grip stock and this one was a major bonus because its extrenely rigid, inexpensive for its class, and fits the basically taper free bull barrel of an SPS tactical with plenty of clearance. It was obviously made as an upgrade for bull barreled actions like the SPS tactical 308.
