The +1 is recommended for use with the 18.5" Stevens 320 barrel length.
I just installed a +1 on my “new style” 320 security and it took capacity to 7+1(!!!) with 2.75” Hornady critical defense buckshot shells. You will need to remove the dimples in the mag tube. I just hammered a snug fitting socket on an extension into the tube and tapped the dimples with a ball peen hammer against the socket on the inside to iron them out.
