The manufacturer doesn't state if it will work with a Piston Driven AR, but does state it will work with most Mil-Spec receivers. Since piston driven systems are not technically Mil-Spec I would say no this CMMG, Inc AR-15 Handguard Kit will not be compatible. But I recommend contacting the manufacturer to confirm.

The handguard itself will clear the piston system, but the barrel nut is too thick to accommodate the piston return system, I cut a notch in the barrel nut to make it work.
