The country of origin for this product is Taiwan.
I couldn't tell you where my own SRK was made, but I've had it for close to 20 years, and I've beat the snot out of it. it sharpens easily, and is one of my favorites - when I bought it, at the price, I figured that it wouldn't break my heart (or break the bank) if I broke it. Worth more than I paid for it.
