What sensitivity setting would be recommended for dry fire practice?

We cannot guarantee the ProTimer will pick up the sound of a firing mechanism even on the most sensitive setting. It is better to use the par-time feature to enable a second beep and try to "beat the beeper". Reduce the time interval as your skill level improves.

The Protimer can pick up the snap of a finger, so if the hammer drop is similar in sound pressure it will pick it up.
