Will this hold 30 round AK mags for sure? 7.62 mags, not sure if there's a big difference between 5.45 and 7.62. Thanks!

This should fit AK magazines, however they may be a bit tight.

Where can I find the clips to attach it to my plate carrier instead of using the shoulder straps?

I would recommend emailing us at Techsales@opticsplanet.com and letting us know what plate carrier you are using, that way we can recommend a set of buckles/clips that would work for your setup. However, it is likely you will be able to us the Condor Buckle Repair Kit, which includes 7 different buckles that can be used to attach this chest rig to your carrier.
