What’s the footprint of the optic? Plan to mount it on a S&W M&P 2.0 compact. Wondering if I’ll need any plates or if it can direct mount.

The Crimson Trace CT-RAD Open Reflex Red Dot Sight utilizes the Docter/Noblex mounting footprint. Optic Ready M&P 2.0 pistols include optic adapter plates that allow for installation of a wide variety of optics. Using the included #3 adapter plate, you will be able to install this optic on your M&P.

Will this sight fit Glock 19 generation 3

To mount the Crimson Trace CT-RAD Open Reflex Red Dot Sight to your Gen 3 Glock 19, you must purchase and install the Evolution Gun Works Vortex Viper/Venom Sight Mount. This mount works by replacing your rear sight with an optic plate which will then allow you to install this optic. The mount can be found by using the link below:

Yes, holding the "-" button on the right side of the unit for 3 seconds will turn the unit off.

how long does it take to auto shut off and how do I have to turn it back on?

The CT RAD™ comes with an AUTO Shutoff Function that automatically shuts off after 8 consecutive hours of operation to conserve battery life and a manual ON/OFF Function that allows you to turn on or off the sight by using the side brightness buttons.
