How many rails are needed for a complete fit. I only have 15 rails to play with.

Hi, you will need about 6.5 inches of rail space for the Rig to fit.

Would this fit flush on a M&P Sport II that's using the Magpul MOE Carbine Length handguard, or would it jut out past the front of it?

This will be able to mount to a MOE handguard without extending past the handguard.
