You would need to contact a cobbler for this information.
I own a pair of Danner Elk Hunter in which are very close to the same boot you are looking at here. I bought them for around 350.00 back in 2002. I have had them rebuilt 5 times and I will keep having them rebuilt because they are soooo comfortable now it would be foolish to throw them out. The insides stay dry and they never get that foul boot odor that cheap imported boots get. The reason the bottoms don't last is I am a machinist, and I wear them to work also. The metal shavings on the concrete cut up the bottoms of the boots. Nothing wrong with the boots at all. You get a boot that lasts if you buy Danners USA made boots.
I can't believe that the "expert answer" deferred answering your question to a shoe repair shop. These, like many Danner boots, are well known for their durability, and their ability to be resoled, rebuilt, and repaired by either Danner or a qualified cobbler. The Danner site lists prices for various services. I also highly recommend Dave the Cobbler ( davepagecobbler.com ) who I've sent work on my other boots in the past, and always been more than satisfied with the result. BTW - this site does indicate that these boots can be recrafted in the description. However, to be fair, I'd have to point out that, while durable in the extreme, nothing is completely indestructible. Best of luck.
