Usage can vary depending on your beard attributes (length, density, etc). You can wash your beard at any frequency you prefer (daily, weekly, monthly). Washing it cleans it but also strips it of the natural oils. Beard oil and beard balm replace those but you may prefer one over the other depending on the type of beard hair you have and how you prefer to style it. You may want to consult a barber or stylist for a personalized recommendation on usage.
