Are you sure this is for a Glock 43 and not a Glock 43X?

Yes, this magazine is for the G43. It is an extended mag that also fits the rounds in an offset stack.

Does this magazine fit all the way into the Glock 43 or does it stick out from handle? It would be helpful to see a picture of the magazine in a G43.
