Yes, it should fit and function just fine, but as with AKs, some fitting may be required.

I was able to get top and bottom handguard on the VSKA with a LOT of elbow grease. You will need a screwdriver, hammer and knife to whittle the plastic so everything fits.

Yes, you'll have to remove quite a bit of material on the lower handguard to make it fit. Try to match it up with the original part.
