A rifled slug provides the spin needed for accuracy in a smooth bore shotgun barrel but may also be used in a rifled barrel shotgun.

A regular shot gun barrel is a smooth bore barrel. And these slugs are intended for such a barrel.

Rifled slugs are for smooth bore barrels. Sabot slugs are for rifled barrels.

A "regular" shotgun barrel is smooth bore. So if it says "for smooth bore" it means exactly that. Rifled shotgun barreul are not as common so would be labelled as being Rifled where as a regular shotgun is smoothbore. From experience this slug performs well enough in both.

Yes. Most shotguns have a smooth bore barrel. Shoot these through a smooth, un-choked shotgun barrel.
