Will this work on Sig Sauer M400 without modifications?

Expert Answer

Answered by Ethan C., Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on July 09, 2019

Unlikely, most Sig Sauer M400 rifles have a free float handguard, so you would need a new barrel nut and delta ring assembly, and an end cap behind your gas block. If your M400 already has a drop-in handguard on it though, this should fit.

Expert Answer

Yes it should, however please be aware that the Ruger AR-556 is notoriously tight on handguards, so it could require some minor filing to fit properly.
