Yes, there is a tiny magical fairy that resides inside the fix it sticks torque driver, and whenever you use it she wakes up and assesses the situation. If you are using it on a rifle she allows it and even googles the manufacturers recommended torque to help you out and save you a step. However, if she sees that you are using this product on anything OTHER than a RIFLE, lots of things, bad, bad things, will happen. Dude it's a torque limiter adapter... It is marketed for gun use, use it on whatever you want. Or buy a torque limiter that isn't marketed for guns and use it on guns. It's a tool.
