Yes, this barrel will work in standard AR-15 barrels.

While this barrel will physically swap with your FN 16" barrel, since this barrel is shorter than 16", it must be used on a pistol, registered Short Barrel Rifle, or NFA registered M16. Using this on a regular AR-15 will put you in violation of the National Firearms Act of 1934.
