The battery you will need is Custom 7.4V 1500mAh 20C / 40C PEQ Type Lipoly Battery and you can easily find it at online battery retailer.

is the gun plastic or metal? What parts of the gun are metal? How much does it weigh?

3700g = 8.16 pounds this is maid out of metal and somewhat heavyduty plastic. I’ve scene many people use this gun at fields and love it.
