when ordering a gun belt i have been told to measure your waist and ad 4 inches ... is this the correct process in choosing the proper size.

Galco belts are made in 5, 7 and 9-hole designs, in even sizes and in true inches. Sizing is based on the center hole, regardless of the number of holes in the belt. If you are between Galco sizes, Galco recommends rounding up, so measuring 33 would round up to 34.

To determine your correct size, measure one of your existing belts from the end of the buckle to the hole you are currently using. This will give you a true inch measurement and a correct belt fit to order.

If I have a 39 inch waist what size of SB6 Galco gun belt do I need to order?

Galco belts are made in 5, 7 and 9-hole designs, in even sizes and in true inches. Sizing is based on the center hole, regardless of the number of holes in the belt. If you are between Galco sizes, Galco recommends rounding up, so measuring 39 would round up to 40.

Per Galco these belts are sized from the end of the buckle to the hole and they are sized to the center hole.

Galco does not currently offer this stitch pattern in either 1 1/2 or 1 1/4 belt widths.
