Geissele recommends that the Geissele AR-15 Super 42 Buffer Spring/Buffer Combo For Carbine Receiver Extension be used in AR15's chambered in .223 or 5.56. They do not mention compatibility with AR10 style rifles. However, it might work in a Ruger SFAR308 if it uses a Mil-Spec Carbine Buffer Tube. I recommend contacting Geissele to confirm compatibility.
