The picture is of the ORIGINAL design of the SSP single stage. But Geissele has made a redesign of the SSP, and it now looks like a 2stage trigger, such as the sd3g. But it is in fact, a single stage. You will never receive the trigger depicted in this picture, because it will never be in production again.

This is not the original SSP, nor is the one pictured, butvery few people would actually know that as the original was never openly sold at market and I know this because I was given one at a show by one who will remain nameless herself. it was just out of production and was in nibx not black oxide and that was prior to the flat trigger phase. I have all 3 the pre-mass production SSP in a colt, an early release of the flat faced SSP and a more recent one. The preproduction was the crispist with the shortest reset but the flat faced and more current version have a slightly longer but definitely more noticeable reset and a slightly lighter pull weight.
