This is for 9mm Glock slides, in fact these parts work in practically all generation 3-4 9mm glocks - 26, 19, 17, and 34!

No, Glock changed alot of parts with the 5th generation and this kit is only compatible with Gen 3 and 4.

Yes we have had personal builds run very high round counts with this parts kit and they are still running. Clean your pistol according to the OEM recommendation, obviously.

Do the steel parts have any sort of protective coating or surface treatment?

The striker, extractor, extractor depressor plunger and striker safety are all 17-4 PH stainless steel, which has inherent corrosion resistant properties.
