No, the Griffin Armament 60-120 Ambi Safety Selector Kit will not work with your Partisan FRT (Disruptor) trigger group. Here is why:
Proprietary Selector Design: The Partisan Disruptor uses a specialized, self-contained drop-in cassette architecture. Because it is a 3-position forced reset trigger (Safe / Semi / Enhanced Semi FRT mode), it requires a proprietary safety selector cylinder that interacts directly with the internal mechanics of the cassette.
Standard AR-15 Interferences: Our 60-120 kit is designed to fit standard, mil-spec pattern AR-15 fire control groups. Standard aftermarket selectors lack the specific mechanical cutouts required to actuate the Partisan's unique reset lobe and trigger bar geometry.
Because the Partisan trigger requires its own factory-supplied selector to function safely and correctly, you are limited to the non-ambidextrous selector that comes included in the box with that specific trigger kit.
No, the kit does not include the charging handle. The charging handle shown in some of our product photography is used for illustrative purposes to show how the safety selector looks when installed on a complete lower or alongside other Griffin Armament furniture and accessories.
We have not tested it on any Binary or Forced Reset Triggers
Yes, the Griffin 60-120 Ambi Safety Selector Kit is compatible with both Hiperfire and Geissele triggers. Our selector is designed to follow standard Mil-Spec internal dimensions for the safety drum, which is the interface these trigger manufacturers use for their fire control groups.
A few details to keep in mind for your installation:
The 60° vs. 120° Throw: This kit allows you to choose between a short 60° throw or a standard 120° throw. Both settings function perfectly with Hiperfire and Geissele triggers.
Engagement: Because Geissele and Hiperfire triggers often have very crisp resets and specific sear engagement, we always recommend performing a standard "Function Check" after installation to ensure the safety fully blocks the trigger tail when engaged.
Fitment: This kit is a "drop-in" fit for standard AR-15 and SR25/AR-10 pattern lower receivers.
The Griffin Armament 60-120 M-4/M16 Ambi Safety Selector Kit can not be used with the Franklin Armory BFSIII Binary Trigger. The Franklin Armory Safety Selector needs to be used with that trigger.
Yes, you can put this into a standard lower, but it will not provide any additional functionality of the firearm. The third position would just work as another semi auto. Our 55 degree safety we offer would be a better option for this.
