Yes, the Enhanced Mil-Spec BCG will work perfectly with a carbine gas system and a JP Enterprises Silent Captured Spring (SCS). However, there is one very important technical detail regarding the installation: The "Carrier Weight" Rule. Because the JP Silent Captured Spring is a self-contained unit with its own guide rod, it requires a hollow-cavity bolt carrier. The Good News: Our Enhanced Mil-Spec BCG is a standard Full-Auto profile, which means the rear of the carrier is hollow. The Requirement: You must remove the internal weights (the steel or tungsten weights held in by a roll pin) from the rear of your bolt carrier if they are present. Most "Full Auto" carriers, including ours, are shipped hollow or can be easily cleared to allow the JP guide rod to enter the rear of the carrier during the recoil stroke.
