I bought a handguard from a local co. and they provided a barrel nut that has 4 slots spaced at 90*. My magpul AR-15 wrench won’t work. Will this? — 1 Answer

This would depend on your what kind of barrel nut your local company is using. I would encourage you to reach out to this local company and see what tool they intend for use with their handguard to ensure it is not a proprietary tool. If it requires a standard AR15 Carbine Stock Wrench, this tool would most likely work, depending on the tolerances they hold on their barrel nuts.
