Yes, for the complete MK1 Patrol 14.5" Carbine (Pinned to 16"), the muzzle device is pinned and welded to ensure it meets the legal 16-inch federal minimum barrel length for a rifle.

Yes, the MK1 Patrol 14.5" Carbine (Pinned to 16") comes standard with both the M2 Micro Modular Sights and a Griffin Rail Shield 4-piece panel kit.

Are the flash-hiders pinned and welded onto the barrels because of the less than 16" length?

No they are not. They have the option to be pinned if you choose to when you receive it. Since they are pre-drilled for ease of barrel pin installation.

14.5" without the flash hider, 16" overall with it attached.
