Diameter is 1.25”, don’t think it will accommodate a bayonet.

Also wondering if this requires a crush washer or if it is tightened directly against the thread shoulder of the barrel?

I'd recommend a lock washer. This was recommended to me by one of the old timers from the machine gun days of the early 70's. They'd use a lock washer on their full auto SBR's and it worked better than the crush washer and could be reused over and over.

Yes, you would need a crush washer to properly time this muzzle device.

What type of steel is the hider made of? How much does it weigh? Does it come with a crush washer? Does it have machined flats for a wrench?
