Diameter is 1.25”, don’t think it will accommodate a bayonet.

I'd recommend a lock washer. This was recommended to me by one of the old timers from the machine gun days of the early 70's. They'd use a lock washer on their full auto SBR's and it worked better than the crush washer and could be reused over and over.
