Can I use my original gas tube? Or do you recommend buying the tube and block?

In most cases you can use your current gas tube. The models that come with a gas tube only come with a carbine length gas tube, so you will want to be sure that your barrel has a carbine length gas system if ordering any of the models that come with a gas tube.

I have a Core15 scout patterned like M4-A2 with plastic beehive front stock and A frame front sight. Can I keep front stock or require free float?

This gas bock does not require a free float handguard.

Will this work with a 12” hand guard on a 20” .308 barrel?

That will depend on the gas system length of the barrel. This gas block will not fit inside of a free float handguard. Please email us at TechSales@opticsPlanet.com with the make and model of your barrel and we will be able to confirm this for you.

This gas block is made of T6 Aluminum.
