Does this go over a regular a2 flash hider and also can I shoot both 223/556 ammo ?

The Guntec USA AR-15 Mini Slip Over Barrel Shroud with Multi Port Muzzle Brake is a direct thread muzzle device. It does not fit over an existing muzzle device or flash hider. As long as you have 1/2x28 threads you can install this muzzle device and safely use it with 5.56/.223.

Will this work for an ar9 pistol with 1/2x28 threads or is this .223/5.56 only
