I contacted H-S Precision (02/11/22) and they said the magazine follower and spring ARE caliber specific. They indicated that if there is not an option to select the caliber when ordering then you may get a magazine that does not match the caliber you want. Also, their website now lists a 9 - 10 month backorder time for the kit.
