I would not use it for breathable air. It is designed for small air gun tanks.

It can pump whatever air you put it in. I suggest you don't pump hot air with it. Or wet air. And especially not hot wet air.

This is NOT a breathing air compressor. It will not filter out or detect things like carbon monoxide. The compressor itself may add contaminants like lubricating oil to the air. Proper high pressure BAC's will filter the air, test for contaminants, and remove moisture. Removing moisture is critical if you want to use the air in a breathing apparatus (SCBA), as moisture in the compressed air will freeze as it depressurizes while you breath, possibly restricting airflow or completely causing the unit to fail. You can live with food for weeks, water for days, but without air it is only seconds.

Do not use this as a breathing air compressor.
