The tube body is 4.7" in length, with the 1.3" turret in the middle. The eyepiece side will have 1.8" of space for a ring to be mounted, and the objective side will have 1.6" of space for a ring to be mounted.

I have the 14111 model,, The MAX ring distance is 4.3 inches.. The other fellow is wrong unless he is measuring a different model.
1.7 inches from eye piece to turrets available and 1.3 available from turret to objective lens 1.35 turrets width.
