There is not that big of a difference between the Hornady Frontier 5.56x45mm NATO 68 Grain Boat-Tail Hollow Point and the Hornady Frontier .223 Remington 68 Grain Boat-Tail Hollow Point. 5.56x45mm NATO has a slightly different shoulder profile and longer throat which allows it to be loaded to a pressure. The 5.56 will produce higher pressures resulting in a faster bullet in a rifle chambered for 5.56 this is because the case walls are a little thicker in 5.56 than in the 223 causing a smaller inside the the case aria wich results in higher pressure
