Hornady does not state the COAL of the Hornady Frontier 5.56x45mm NATO 75 grain Boat Tail Hollow Point ammo. I recommend contacting Hornady for that information.

I had bought some of this frontier ammo and on the head stamp it only says LC 22 with cross and circle, is that normal?

What wears out a ar15 barrel more? 55 grain m193 or this hornady frontier 75 grain BTHP? If you are shooting it from a 1:7 twist 16 inch barrel?

On average the barrel life of an AR15 barrel is about 20000 rounds. The difference in barrel wear between the two bullets you mentioned are not going to be that noticeable. I recommend selecting the ammo that shoots the best out of your gun and sticking with that.

Is this a soft point

The Hornady Frontier 5.56x45mm NATO 75 grain uses a Boat Tail Hollow Point bullet. So it is not a soft point bullet like a Remington Core Lokt bullet.

Is this cartridge compatible with a Smith and Wesson M&P 15?

If you have a 5.56 NATO barrel which I believe all smith and Wesson M&P 15 barrels are then yes. also barrel twist should be 1:7 or 1:8 for best results
