This is an age old question. I have read and been told that it's never a good idea to have powder measures on a single stage press! — 1 Answer

Hornady says:

In my opinion, it depends on what you’re loading.

Are you loading for quantity or quality? If you are loading for plinking and having fun, the powder drop will work great for that application.

Loading for precision on the other hand, no.

You would be better served weighing each and every load on a balance beam scale as you trickle in your charge. Hope this helps!
