Can you use the OEM magazine release for this grip? — 1 Answer

Old question, but for others with the same question: I believe the answer is yes, but the first thing I did after adding an optic was replacing the ambi mag release with a single direction mag release - reason being, a fault of the echelon design is that when a mag is installed, it introduces a ton of slop in the mag release button, but changing to single direction reduces the slop significantly (though not entirely). It’s a small annoyance, made up for by how amazing these things shoot in an aluminum grip module, and especially if it’s the comped model (mine is a 4.5” comped in a sharps bros grip module - flattest shooting pistol I own, and I absolutely love this pistol). I assume this grip would be quite nice as well, and the added weight over polymer will make it a flat shooter.
