Yes, this should work in a dedicated 9mm lower receiver. JP Enterprises sells their GMR-15 9mm dedicated carbine from the factory with the JP Enhanced Reliability Fire Control Package coming from the factory. One of the keys is going to be the JP Speed Hammer, or a bobbed hammer for reliable functionality.
