Keep in mind that 6.5 PRC is longer than 6.5 Creedmoor and the round is too long to fit into a SR25/LR308 style magazine. You would need a special upper, lower, magazine, and a bolt that was based on the LR308 bolt and AR10 type carrier system for this to work. You can't just buy this extension and a .264" blank and expect to send it to a smith and end up with a functional large frame AR in 6.5 PRC. The 6.5 Creedmoor and .308 use a .407" bolt face. The 6.5 PRC uses a much larger .532" bolt face. A large frame bolt machined to fit that large of a case head would have a razor thin support around the bolt head. Kind of like how a 6.5 Grendel bolt looks. So I'm going with 99% NO as my answer.
Yes, this should work with 6.5 PRC.
