This does not interact with your bolt catch, rather this is a rear takedown pin assembly replacement. The bolt catch assembly is sold separately.

The bolt will not hold open after firing the last round, you lose that function utilizing this kit. The bolt catch/release is replaced with a magazine lock included in the kit. The idea is to be able to open a gap between the upper and lower receiver using the rear release pin which allows the magazine lock to clear the magazine catch thus being able to operate the mag release button. Change mag, close receiver then rack the bolt to strip the first round into battery, you are now ready fire.
