This SAYS micro but picture and measurements are of full size is this the micro or not.

It is the MICRO (1.75") version. I purchased this item thinking it was the full size (3.25") slim version judging by the picture and description. Had to send it back. Hope this clears up any confusion.

Will this work with a starandard 556 AR15?

The KAK Micro 1/2-36 Slimline Flash Can will most likely not work for an AR15 due to the thread pattern. The muzzle device itself can support 5.56 but unless you have a 1/2x36 thread pitch, it will not work.
