The MDC option is solid black in color.

I purchased the MDC/gray and it is in fact a flat metallic gray. It is not black, but it is also not a natural metal appearance...more like a coating.

The MDC GREY is MOST CERTAINLY NOT DARK BLACK, it’s GREY, almost like a Matte Gunmetal Grey finish which is my favorite from them, I believe it’s a proprietary finish color.
